★Product Details

The 11kV three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer is a robust and efficient solution for stepping down medium-voltage power to usable low-voltage levels in electrical distribution networks. Designed for reliability, it features a durable tank filled with insulating oil for effective cooling and insulation. With high efficiency, low losses, and excellent overload capacity, it ensures stable performance in utility, industrial, and commercial applications. The transformer complies with international standards (IEC, IEEE) and offers options for ONAN or KNAN cooling. Its compact design, corrosion-resistant construction, and low maintenance requirements make it ideal for outdoor installations, providing long-term power distribution reliability.

★Product Features
  • High Efficiency & Low Losses
Our 11kV oil-immersed distribution transformer features advanced core design with high-grade CRGO silicon steel, ensuring up to 99% efficiency and reduced no-load losses (as low as 0.5%). Compliant with IEC 60076 & IEEE C57.12.00, it minimizes energy waste, lowering operational costs for utilities and industries.
  • Robust Cooling & Overload Capacity
Equipped with ONAN/KNAN cooling technology, the transformer maintains stable performance even under 150% short-term overload. The high-quality insulating oil ensures optimal heat dissipation, extending service life in harsh environments.
  • Durable & Low-Maintenance Design
Featuring a corrosion-resistant tank, sealed construction, and moisture-proof windings, this transformer requires minimal upkeep. Its 30-year design lifespan reduces long-term replacement costs, ideal for rural and urban distribution networks.
  • Smart Monitoring & Safety Compliance
Optional IoT-enabled sensors (temperature, oil level, load monitoring) enhance predictive maintenance. Meets safety standards with pressure relief mechanisms for risk-free operation.

Ideal for factories, plants and mining sites requiring stable medium-voltage distribution. The robust oil-cooled design handles heavy machinery loads and voltage fluctuations effectively.
  • Renewable Energy Integration
Commonly installed in solar/wind farms to connect renewable generation to the grid. Provides reliable voltage transformation with high tolerance for intermittent power inputs.
  • Rural Electrification Projects
Perfect for remote areas due to its durability and minimal maintenance needs. Operates reliably in harsh weather conditions with wide temperature variations.
  • Infrastructure Developments
Essential for airports, railways and ports requiring uninterrupted power. The oil-immersed design ensures stable operation for critical infrastructure applications.
Product Operate Guide
  1. Transportation
Secure the transformer firmly during transport to prevent movement or tipping. Use proper lifting equipment and avoid impacts or tilting beyond 15°. Protect from rain and mechanical damage.
  2. Deliverable Check
Upon receipt, inspect the transformer for physical damage, verify nameplate data, and check for missing accessories. Report any discrepancies immediately.
  3. Storage
Store the transformer in a dry, ventilated area, away from corrosive substances. If stored outdoors, cover with waterproof material and elevate to prevent moisture ingress.
  4. Installation Environment Requirements
Install on a level, vibration-free foundation. Ambient temperature: -25°C to +40°C. Altitude ≤1000m. Avoid locations with excessive dust, corrosive gases, or risk of flooding.
  5. Electrical Installation
Connect primary and secondary cables according to the wiring diagram. Ensure all terminals are clean and tight. Ground the transformer as per local electrical codes.
  6. Common Components
Main tank, conservator (if applicable), bushings, tap changer, oil level gauge, thermometer, pressure relief device, and grounding terminals.
  7. Common Operation
Regularly monitor oil level, temperature, and load. Operate tap changer only under no-load conditions. Keep the area around the transformer clear.
  8. Fuse Installation
Install fuses on the low-voltage side as per rated current. Ensure correct fuse type and secure mounting.
  9. DC Resistance
Measure winding DC resistance before commissioning. Values should match factory test reports. Significant deviation may indicate internal faults.
  10. Pressure Resistance
Perform insulation resistance and withstand voltage tests as per standards before energizing. Ensure all test results are within specified limits.
  11. Transformer Ratio
Verify the voltage ratio using a transformer turns ratio tester. Results should conform to nameplate values.
  12. Power-on Operation
Confirm all connections and safety checks are complete. Power on the transformer with no load, monitor for abnormal noise, vibration, or leakage. Gradually apply load.
  13. Power-off Repair
Disconnect all power sources and ground the transformer before any maintenance. Wait for the transformer to cool before opening covers.
  14. General Maintenance
Inspect oil level, color, and dielectric strength regularly. Clean bushings and check for leaks. Tighten connections and check protective devices.
  15. Component Maintenance
Service tap changers, relays, and gauges as per manufacturer instructions. Replace gaskets and seals if oil leaks are detected.
  16. Component Replacement
Use only approved spare parts. De-energize and isolate the transformer before replacing bushings, gaskets, or other components.
  17. Transformer Troubleshooting
Common issues: overheating, abnormal noise, oil leakage, or tripping. Investigate causes such as overload, short circuit, or insulation failure. Consult technical support if needed.
  18. Table of Tightening Torque
Refer to the manufacturer's documentation for recommended tightening torque values for all fasteners and connections.
